With a specialization in General Medicine and Diabetes, Dr. Vinod Kumar Pavithran has completed a silver jubilee in his illustrious career in the field of medicine.
In 1988, after completing his MD in General Medicine, Dr. Pavithran opted for professional practice. However during 1991-1993, with an aim to improve his understanding of common infectious diseases relevant to clinical practice in India and to enhance his interest in the subspecialty of Infectious Diseases he engaged himself in a training program in Internal Medicine and Infectious diseases at CMC, Vellore. In 2002, he underwent an intensive and advanced training at New Castle University, Australia where he achieved his diploma in Diabetes Care.
As a part of the dedicated team of healthcare professionals at KVM Hospital, Alappuzha, he has been practising in the hospital since the past 18 years.
